Brian F. Squair, Q.C.
Brian is a retired lawyer
who
practiced civil litigation and
constitutional law and provided
legal services to several
Departments of the Government
of Manitoba for twenty-six years.
Brian obtained his B.A. at United College and his L.L.B. from the University of Manitoba. He taught English and History for three years at Dauphin Collegiate and English for three years in Ghana, West Africa with the fore runner of CIDA.
Brian was involved for many years in the
development of Co-operative Housing in Manitoba. He served as a Director of the Co-op Housing Association of Manitoba, the forerunner to CHAM Holdings Inc. This group was a significant provider of housing for low income persons. He was part of the decision to terminate the activities of CHAM Holdings and transfer their assets to the Jubilee Fund. Brian has served on the Board of Directors, Fred Douglas Lodge.
Brian and his wife Kathy who is a nurse, have four daughters and six grandchildren.
