Heather Sadowy
Heather Sadowy was born and raised in Winnipeg and is happy to call this city home. She first heard about the work of the Jubilee Fund when she began her career at Assiniboine Credit Union in 2004. After learning more about the organization and their work, her first thought was "Why doesn't everybody know about these guys?" After joining ACU's Business & Community Financial Centre in 2007, she began serving as a member of the Jubilee Fund's Communications Committee in hopes of helping to spread the word.
Heather believes strongly in the concept of community loans as it makes the most out of every resource involved. "By giving people the resources and tools they need to become self-reliant, their chance to succeed grows exponentially". Heather has enjoyed watching many of Winnipeg's small businesses and community organizations grow with the help of the Jubilee Fund, and hopes to see many more successes in the future.
