Molly McCracken, CCPA-MB Executive Director and Make Poverty History Steering Committee Member, shares community based mental health research and its relation to poverty. Kate Gale shares lived experience with mental health and poverty. Dr. Jason Ediger, Registered Psychologist at CBTI, shares the common connection between mental health and poverty.
Community Based Solutions has become one of Jubilee Fund’s staple annual events. Jubilee Fund brings in community speakers to present on poverty related topics, followed by our AGM.
This annual gathering is a source of donations, membership sales and new investment sales. Most importantly, it gives us an in person connection point with so many of our supports which is an annual highlight for the Jubilee Fund Board of Directors and team. All of these reasons and more, is why it is with a heavy heart that the Jubilee Fund Board of Directors and team have made the difficult choice to reformat this year’s Community Based Solutions gathering. Protecting our supporters’ health is a major priority currently.
However, we are very excited to say that Community Based Solutions will NOT be cancelled, but rather moved online! How?
ZOOM – Zoom is an online tool in which you are able to join using your computer, cellphone or home phone. It allows video as well as audio should you be unable to join using video. We are very excited to still be able to provide Community Based Solutions – Mental Health & Poverty to you and the community. As the Zoom link will be shared by email, we require all attendees to register online by April 15th. The date and time has not changed for the event.
Please RSVP by April 15th online or call (204)641-6106. For more information, email Monica Dueck or view the Community Based Solutions Poster.
