Sunny Mountain Day Care was founded in 1985 and became operational when they moved into the basement of the North YMCA. After 29 years the Centre now operates four locations in Winnipeg and is licensed for 224 children, 12 infants, 95 preschoolers and 96 school age children. They also offer a nursery school program with 21 spaces.
With assistance from the Jubilee Fund and Assiniboine Credit Union for fixtures and furnishings, Sunny Mountain opened their 5th location – Andrews Early Learning Centre located at Victory School, 395 Jefferson Ave.
